Big time congratulations to our President, Sam Brower and our Treasurer, Alan Davis for being two of 13 incoming seniors selected into UNL's Innocent's Society and to our outgoing House and Grounds Manager, Jason Hawkins for being selected into the Black Masque chapter of Mortar Board.  These are three of the most stand-up men you will meet and it is an honor to call them brothers.  Keep up the good work, boys.

Alex "The Legend" Bernhardson cooked us up some Berngers, his way, this past Saturday for our first rush event of the year!  We welcomed dozens of rushees and their parents to an evening of BBQ, house tours, and great conversation and it couldn't have gone better.  Our next rush event will be on the afternoon of April 15th for the Husker Spring Game so make sure to stop by if you're in town!

After a week of fun activities centered around bringing the men in our house closer, we are happy to announce that 30 out of 32 men in the freshman pledge class have initiated!  These young men exemplify the ideals and values held by all Betas including being a Man of Principle and we are honored to finally have them join us as brothers. 

Dozens of Betas from all classes travelled up to Breckenridge, Colorado for a few days last week.  We shared a houses with the lovely women of Pi Beta Phi and spent our days cozying up in our gorgeous mountain homes, roaming the streets of Breckenridge to shop and eat, and shredding the mountain slopes on our skis and snowboards.  Needless to say we had an incredible time and we are very fortunate to have this opportunity to put aside our worries and studies for a week in the mountains.  Pictured from left to right is Noah Thornton, Gage Mruz, Kaleb Duncan, and John Pfeifer.

The Experience Company presented it's plan for continuing Betas' success during and after college.  Grant Gregory, Mike Wortman, and Kurt Seibert outlined the Internship and Mentorship program that is being implemented throughout Beta to 190 actives, pledges, parents, and alumni last Saturday, November 12th.  The event was a huge success and there were many parents that stuck around and talked with TEC Board of Directors about their companies being interested in offering internships to Betas.

For those of you who visited the chapter house for the homecoming game, you saw we have finished installing our new donor plaques, recognizing donors who contributed $25,000 or more to our campaign. In case you didn't have a chance to see your plaque, here's a virtual tour.

Those of you who stopped by the chapter house during homecoming saw our latest addition - our new donor board, proudly mounted just inside the front door near the dining room. The board recognizes all donors who contributed $2,500 or more to the capital campaign:

As we've been working on the capital campaign for the last several years, we've put a lot of effort into finding and reaching out to every Alpha Tau we can.
