Alpha Tau Chapter
at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Alumni Association

The Beta Theta Pi Alumni Association of Nebraska was established to provide a vital link between Alpha Tau’s 2,500 plus alumni and the current active chapter. The alumni association strives to connect alumni with current students, bring pledge classes and alumni together for events and programming, and serve to strengthen the Beta bonds between all of us.

Support the
Alumni Association

Alumni support is crucial to the success of the Beta Theta Pi Foundation, which was established to advance the educational Mission and Goals of Beta Theta Pi. The Foundation strives to offer a variety of opportunities for gift support of the Fraternity’s educational activities and provides much needed resources to the chapter.

The alumni of the Alpha Tau chapter were also particularly instrumental in the chapter’s reorganization in 1997 and the birth of the Men of Principle initiative, which helped bring Beta into its current period of success and high achievement at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. None of this would be possible without the generous support and donations from Beta Theta Pi’s alumni.

Because alumni are so important to the success of the Alpha Tau chapter of Beta Theta Pi, the active chapter has established many ways of remaining in contact and promoting interaction between the active chapter and the alumni association. One such way is through the publication of the chapter newsletter, The Dragon’s Tale. These newsletters are sent out to alumni three times a year with information pertaining to upcoming events and accomplishments of our chapter. Back issues of The Dragon’s Tale are also available.
