Construction Phase I

With week eight the new concrete floor has been poured in the former crawl space, and Phase I officially comes to an end:

Week seven and Phase I is wrapping up. The foundation work is finished and has been backfilled:

The new foundation wall has dried and the forms have been removed. The two new window wells have been formed up and poured:

Week two brings big progress on the foundation work. The existing columns have been removed and rebar has been delivered for forming up the new foundation walls:

The helical supports have been driven and are supporting the existing foundation while the new lower walls are formed and poured:

With the beginning of summer, it's time to get started on Phase I of construction on our historic chapter house. This includes foundation work to make the crawl space into livable space, some window replacement, and installation of the new flat roof.
